Turkey Visit 9

Most of the groups left Yalova on the 20th April,Saturday.Host Turkish students and families took their guests to the hotel where the teachers stayed.They wanted to wave hands to their new friends.Most of them cried.They were together only for 6 days but they got accustomed to each others.

Turkey Visit 8

The 19th April was the last day in Yalova and Kardelen Secondary School.The coordinators had a meeting for the last time in Yalova.All the teams tried to learn to make delicious Turkish traditional dishes:Mantı and Kısır.First,everybody watched and then they did.The Turkish students displayed some traditional activities.One of them was Henna Night.All the groups danced in Turkish style with Turkish folk music.Students played outdoor games.At the end,the School Management presented the participation certificates to all the partners.It was the time to say good-bye each others :(

                                     

Turkey Visit 7

We went to Istanbul city on the 18th April.It is one of the important cultural cities of Europe.There are a lot of significant historical buildings and places there.We visited some of them: Topkapı Palace,Basilica Cistern, The Blue Mosque(Sultanahmet Camii),Hagia Sofia(Aya Sofya) and the Huge Aquarium.We had lunch in a Turkish restaurant.We tried Turkish meatball.
